State Funds Available to Train Your Employees!

The state of RI is offering matching grant awards of up to $50,000 to help Rhode Island companies upgrade the skills of their workers and improve their competitiveness in the marketplace.

Eligibility: For profit or not for profit organizations who contribute to the Job Development fund. All trainees must be employees. Volunteers and board members are not eligible to participate in the training.

Important Dates: Pre-proposal Conference will be held November 6, 2007 from 8-10am at the Sheraton Providence Airport Hotel, 1850 Post Road, Warwick, RI. Proposals must be submitted by December 7, 2007. Training must take place between January 21, 2008 and December 31, 2008.
