Tax Manager

So what does a Tax Manager do at Sansiveri?
As a Tax Department member, you will be responsible for managing staff and preparing tax
compliance and advisory work for a diverse client base. You will work closely with Tax Staff,
Seniors, Supervisors, and Partners to ensure that clients’ tax needs are met with the highest level
of professionalism. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic tax guidance
while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals,
businesses, and entities (S and C corporations, partnerships, LLCs, trusts, etc.). - Research tax issues and interpret tax laws and regulations to determine optimal client
solutions. - Collaborate with Tax Staff, Seniors, Supervisors, Managers, and Partners on the
preparation of reports, presentations, and other tax–related documents. - Participate in firm–wide initiatives such as internal process improvement and training
programs. - Serve as the primary point of contact for clients while maintaining and building both
existing and new relationships.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of federal and state income tax preparation and review experience in
public accounting for S and C corporations, partnerships, multi–state returns, high net
worth individuals, and trusts. - Experience with tax planning for closely held businesses and their owners.
- Track record of training, developing, supervising, and mentoring staff while managing
multiple engagements and client relationships across a variety of industries
simultaneously. - Desire to take on additional responsibilities and become a Partner.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA license required (MST degree preferred).
