Employee Spotlight: Rebecca Henderson, CPA, ABV

Since joining Sansiveri in 2019, Rebecca Henderson, CPA/ABV, has made her mark as a Supervisor in the firm’s Forensic & Valuation Services (FVS) Department. Her career is defined by curiosity, dedication, and a passion for uncovering the story behind the numbers – traits that make her an asset in complex business valuation and forensic accounting engagements. Rebecca’s work spans litigation support, estate and gift tax valuations, ESOPs, and shareholder disputes. Her role is hands-on and strategic: she manages engagements from start to finish, oversees quality control, and collaborates across departments to ensure cohesive client service. She also supports the development of the firm’s report templates and training resources. Before relocating to Rhode Island, Rebecca honed her skills at a firm in Atlanta, GA. Her love for  accounting goes way back -sparked in high school and inspired by her grandmother, a bookkeeper. She pursued her calling at Georgia Southern University, one of the first schools in the country to offer a forensic accounting program. She earned both her BBA in Accounting and a Master of Accounting with a Forensic Accounting Certificate from Georgia Southern. What makes Sansiveri stand out to Rebecca?

Her specialties include work in construction & real estate, manufacturing, and professional services industries. Rebecca is also an active member of both the AICPA’s Forensic & Valuation Services Section and RISCPA’s Valuation Section. When she’s not working, Rebecca is reading, collecting vinyls, or crafting. She lives in Cranston with her cats, Kaz and Uyu, and serves as Treasurer and Board Member for Ten Lives Cat Rescue, a nonprofit close to her heart. Rebecca brings commitment and heart to everything she does and we’re so proud to have her on our team!
