So what does an Audit Senior at Sansiveri do?
As an Assurance Department member, you will be responsible for working closely with other
team members on a full range of assurance services including audits, reviews, and compilations
of financial statements for companies in a variety of industries. You will work closely with
Seniors, Supervisors, Managers, and Partners to ensure that client needs are met with the highest
level of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a full range of professional accounting and auditing services including financial
statement audit, review, and compilation services to companies in a variety of industries. - Assist management in the design and execution of engagement audits and reviews.
- Preparation of a complete set of financial statements including drafting of footnotes and
supplemental schedules. - Coordinate and assist with supervising the day–to–day activities of engagements including
the training and monitoring of Audit Staff. - Document and communicate any accounting and auditing matters that arise during
engagements to the management team. - Serve as a client point of contact in addition to Supervisors, Managers, and Partners.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ public accounting audit, review, and compilation experience.
- Understanding of U.S. GAAP and professional standards including U.S. GAAS and
SARS. - Bachelor’s degree in accounting required. CPA (or in progress) preferred.
- Excellent technical, research, problem solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Consistent desire to professionally improve and to be promoted based on the delivery of
excellent work product.
