That firm is Sansiveri, Kimball & Co., LLP (Sansiveri) and we are seeking an Audit Staff to join our team.

So what does an Audit Staff at Sansiveri do?

As an Assurance Department member, you will be responsible for working closely with other
team members on a full range of assurance services including audits, reviews, and compilations
of financial statements for companies in a variety of industries. You will work closely with
Seniors, Supervisors, Managers, and Partners to ensure that client needs are met with the highest
level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a full range of professional accounting and auditing services including financial
    statement audits, reviews, and compilations to companies in a variety of industries.
  • Review and verification of bank balances, examinations of fixed assets, inventory,
    prepaids, accruals, etc.
  • Preparation of a complete set of financial statements including drafting of footnotes and
    supplemental schedules.
  • Working in a team environment, build relationships with peers, supervisors, and client
    personnel while handling and prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Document and communicate any accounting and auditing matters that arise during
    engagements to the management team.
  • Serve as a client point of contact in addition to Supervisors, Managers, and Partners.

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 1+ years public accounting audit, review, and compilation experience.
  • Understanding of U.S. GAAP and professional standards including U.S. GAAS and
    SARS.
  • Bachelors degree in accounting required. CPA (or in progress) preferred.
  • Preference will be given to those applicants meeting the 150credit hour requirement for
    CPA eligibility.
  • Excellent technical, research, problem solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Consistent desire to professionally improve and to be promoted based on the delivery of
    excellent work product.
