So, what does an Outsourced Client Accounting & Controller Services Manager at Sansiveri do?
As a Client Accounting Services (CAS) Team member, you will be responsible for providing controller and general ledger management services to small to medium sized clients within the construction, manufacturing, not–for profit, professional services, and retail industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and participate in the production of accurate and timely financial statements and
other financial records during both month–end and year–end close. - Create insightful analytical reports allowing clients to better understand operating results.
- Perform budget to actual analyses for engagements and on behalf of clients that offer
useful insight into business operations. - Provide timely responses to client inquiries.
- General ledger management services include account reconciliations, posting transactions
to the general ledger, processing approved invoice payments, applying cash receipts, and
processing payroll utilizing the client’s third–party processor. - Develop new client business while maintaining and expanding existing relationships with
client personnel. - Proactively work with CPAs to provide tax planning and preparation support for mutual
clients of Sansiveri’s CAS division and other divisions. - Drive the implementation of best practices to increase efficiencies.
- Manage/mentor engagement staff while supporting their continued growth and success
and maintaining open lines of communication with all members of the CAS Team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years’ experience performing CAS related work or four to five years
of public accounting and/or private industry accounting experience. - Demonstrated proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational and time–management skills and an ability to prioritize and
manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Strong written and verbal communication skills used to present complex information
clearly and concisely. - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast–paced environment.
- Keen attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (preferred).
- CPA designation preferred but not required.
