Tax Senior

That firm is Sansiveri, Kimball & Co., LLP (Sansiveri) and we are seeking a Tax Senior to join our Tax Team.
So what does a Tax Senior at Sansiveri do?
As a Tax Department member, you will be responsible for preparation of tax returns for high–net–
worth individuals and corporate entities including S and C corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
You will be responsible for overseeing and preparing tax compliance and advisory work for a
diverse client base. You will work closely with Supervisors, Managers, and Partners to ensure
that clients’ tax needs are met with the highest level of professionalism.
Key Responsibilties:
- Preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses,
and entities (S and C corporations, partnerships, LLCs, etc.). - Research tax issues and interpret tax laws and regulations to determine optimal client
solutions. - Review tax returns completed by staff members and provide constructive review
comments that allow staff to improve their skills. - Collaborate with Partners and Managers on the preparation of reports, presentations, and
other tax–related documents. - Assist with tax audits by working with clients and the IRS on audit defense when
required. - Train and mentor staff.
- Participate in firm–wide initiatives such as internal process improvement and training
programs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ public accounting federal and state tax experience.
- CPA (or in progress) preferred. MST desired but not required.
- Excellent technical, research and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Consistent desire to professionally improve and to be promoted based on the delivery of
excellent work product. - Proficiency with CCH ProSystem fx Tax and CCH Axcess Engagement preferred.

NOTE – Sansiveri has offices in Providence, RI, and New Bedford, MA. This position is
based in the Providence, RI, office.
